Voter Registration
The Consolidated Election will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2009. Residents are encouraged to make sure their Voter’s Registration Card is current. Residents who have moved within Lake Forest must complete the change of address form on the back of their card and return it to: Lake County Clerk’s Office, 18 N. County Street, Waukegan, IL 60085. This will ensure your right to vote in all elections. The deadline for registering to vote in the April 7, 2009 Election is March 10, 2009. With proof of address or citizenship, if applicable, you can register at City Hall, Shields, Moraine, West Deerfield, Vernon or Libertyville Township offices. If you have questions, contact Deputy City Clerk Beth Marquez at (847) 615-4269. Voter registration requirements: must be a US citizen; must be at least 18 years of age by election day; and must have been a resident of the precinct for at least 30 days.
